New T-2100 assembly on trailer

New T-2100 assembly on trailer

A new facility in Texas is getting ready to install a brand new model T-2100 FRP cooling tower. This size cooling tower normally does not get transported fully assembled, however per customer request, we assembled their cooling tower right on a trailer truck bed ready for easy and safe transport to its final destination.

Cooling Tower Life Expentancy

Cooling Tower Life Expentancy

There are a few factors that determine the life expectancy for our counter-flow, induced-draft FRP (fiberglass reinforced polyester) cooling towers.

1. Maintenance and up keep
2. Water quality
3. Uses of chemicals and bleeds on cooling tower

Generally speaking the longevity of our cooling towers should last a minimum of 25-30 years. CTS offers a 20 year warranty on all FRP cooling tower components- which is the longest in the industry.

The longest CTS, Inc. has been representing towers is 30 years and the oldest were (2) T-220 on the east coast of Florida, and were in place for 42 years.
