This recent project featured one of our Model T-2350 cooling towers shipped to a facility in Texas, complete with a fully integrated OSHA-compliant caged ladder system for safe access to the top of the tower.
The T-2350 is part of our T-2 model line of counterflow induced draft FRP cooling towers. Like every CTS tower, it features a non-corrosive fiberglass casing and basin, a circular footprint that performs the same regardless of wind direction, and lightweight modular construction that simplifies on-site installation. The T-2350 is built for facilities that need reliable evaporative cooling with long service life and minimal corrosion concerns, exactly what Texas heat and humidity demand.
The standout feature of this particular install is the caged ladder you can see in the photos. OSHA standards require fall protection cages or comparable systems on fixed ladders extending more than 24 feet above a lower level. We design and supply these ladder systems directly with the tower so facility managers do not have to source, fabricate, or install safety access after the fact. The cage, platforms, and access points are pre-engineered to match the tower model and arrive ready for installation.
