How to Tell When a Part Needs Replacing
- Fan motor: overheating, tripping breakers, bearing noise, or vibration. See cooling tower motor replacement.
- Speed reducer and fan blades: unusual noise, vibration, slipping belts, or cracked or out-of-pitch blades. Check blade pitch against the fan assembly specs below.
- Sprinkler head and pipe: uneven water distribution, dry spots on the fill, or rising cold-water temperature.

Match the motor to your power supply and mounting. The NEMA motor is 50 HP, 208/230/460V, 3-phase, 60 Hz. The metric motor is 50 HP, 220/440V, 3-phase, 60 Hz. If you are not sure which is installed, check the motor nameplate or call us.
