A Model T-2300 cooling tower shipped with OSHA-compliant ladder and safety cage.
The T-2300 is a counterflow induced draft FRP cooling tower rated at 4,500,000 BTU/hr — 300 nominal tons — at 95°F entering, 85°F leaving, and a 75°F design wet bulb. Like every tower in our T-2 line, the shell and cold water basin are fiberglass reinforced polyester, so there is nothing in the structure to rust, pit, or need repainting.
Why OSHA ladders matter
On larger towers, routine maintenance means getting up to the fan deck. Fill inspection, drift eliminator checks, motor amp readings, and fan pitch adjustment all happen up there, and on a 300-ton tower that is a significant climb.
An OSHA-compliant ladder with safety cage gives maintenance staff a permanent, code-compliant means of access. It removes the need to rig temporary ladders or scaffolding every time the tower needs attention, which in practice means inspections actually get done on schedule rather than being deferred.
We supply OSHA ladders, safety cages, handrails, and platform access as options across the T-2 range. If your facility has fall protection requirements or your maintenance team needs regular deck access, specify them at the time of order — retrofitting later costs more.
Specifying a T-2300
Send us your flow rate or heat load, entering and leaving water temperatures, location, and electrical supply, and we will confirm whether the T-2300 is the right selection. If you are replacing an existing tower, a photo of the nameplate and the overall dimensions will let us match the footprint.
